Dhruv's POV

The hallway was still buzzing with the aftermath of the explosion. I had practically dragged Anant away, his pride bruised and his temper flaring like a wildfire. But as I walked, one phrase kept looping in my mind.

"Meri behen topper!" (My sister is the topper!)

The girl from the gym-Manvi-had been the one screaming it. I stopped in my tracks, the realization hitting me like a physical weight. Krithika, the girl who had just dethroned the "Titan" of our family, and Manvi, the whirlwind of the gym kitchen, were sisters.

The Storm and the Peace. It made an odd kind of sense.

Later that evening, I headed to the gym. My mind was heavy with Anant's behavior. I walked up to the counter, and there she was, already reaching for the blender. She looked up, her eyes wide with that same spark of energy, but I didn't wait for her to speak.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly, leaning against the counter.

Manvi blinked, her hand holding the lid in hand. "Eh? Sorry? Kis liye? (For what?)"

"For my brother," I clarified, meeting her gaze. "Anant. He... he doesn't handle losing very well. He shouldn't have said those things to your sister."

The shock on her face was almost comical. She dropped the carrot she was holding. "Wait... Anant? That VIP Brat is your brother? Tum dono sage bhai ho? (You two are real brothers?)"

I gave a small, weary nod telling we are unidentical twins. "Believe me, I was just as surprised to find out that you and Krithika are sisters. You're... very different."

Manvi let out a breathless laugh, shaking her head. "Different? We're from different planets, Dhruv! But u were... brothers. You clearly got all the manners in the inheritance."

I felt a slight heat creep into my neck. To hide it, I gestured to the blender. "Can I get an ABC juice? But... please, tell me the lid is non-negotiable today."

Manvi turned bright red, her hands pressing the lid on juicer. "Of course! Lid toh bohot important hai! (The lid is very important!) I've learned my lesson, trust me. No more volcanic eruptions."

We both laughed and for a spare moment our eyes met.

As the blender whirred-safely this time-I watched her work. She was surprisingly efficient when she wasn't distracted.

"You're very dedicated," she said, sliding the glass across to me. "I see you hit the gym every single day. Even when the school is in chaos, you're here."

"Physical fitness is non-negotiable for me," I replied, taking a sip. "I want to join the Army. My goal is to clear the NDA (National Defence Academy). For that, I need to be at my peak, both mentally and physically."

Manvi's POV

The Army?

I stared at him, my heart doing a weird little somersault. I had always admired his calm composure-the way he seemed like a quiet sanctuary in the middle of our loud school-but hearing about his goal made him look different in my eyes. He wasn't just a "nice guy"; he had a hero's heart.

He was so gentle, apologizing for his brother's arrogance, and so focused on his own path. I watched him sit at the table, sipping his juice with that steady, focused gaze.

"Kash mere life mein bhi koi aisa insaan aa jaye..." (I wish someone like this would come into my life...) I thought, leaning my chin on my hand. And then, a tiny, dangerous voice in my head whispered: "Why not him only?"

I was deep in my Bollywood-style daydream when I realized Dhruv was actually watching me. He looked curious, waiting for me to say something.

"So," Dhruv said, interrupting my thoughts. "Since I've shared my life's mission... what about you? What do you want to do in life, besides inventing new ways to use a blender?"

I straightened up, feeling a bit of my usual spark return. "I don't know. I just don't plan things in advance. I rather go with the flow and do things at my pace and take decisions based on my instincts. And honestly I didn't even give much thought to what I need to do post 12th."

I comforted her by stating that, "It's fine and I know once you figure it out you will be the best in it.You're definitely not someone who belongs in a black-and-white world."

I felt my heart skip a beat. For the first time, it wasn't just an attraction. It was a connection. In a world full of academic wars and ego clashes, this little corner of the gym felt like the only place that made sense.
