12th CENTURY - RAJPUR

Veer was lost in deep thought about the strange girl he had met earlier yesterday.

At the same time, Devnath approached him and said,
" Raja Somnadh is going to make an announcement this evening. We might gain some useful information from it."

Veer nodded in acknowledgment.

Later that evening, Veer and Dev went to the palace grounds where people had gathered, waiting eagerly for the announcement.

After some time, Raja Somnadh and Rani Damayanti appeared on the royal balcony.

Somnadh raised his hand, and the crowd immediately fell silent.

"My people of Rajpur," he announced proudly, "my beloved daughter Rajkumari Diya Gauri has returned from the gurukul. Today, I present her before all of you."

A moment later, Diya stepped forward.

She was dressed in a beautiful pink lehenga, her hair adorned with delicate ornaments. The palace maids had given her a complete makeover as a princess.

She looked nothing less than a heavenly pari descended from the skies.

Standing behind her was Roohi, dressed as her sakhi in traditional attire.

The crowd erupted in cheers.

"Rajkumari Diya Gauri ki Jai Ho!"

Veer's eyes widened in shock.

The girl he had met yesterday...

The girl who had laughed openly and tricked him...

...was none other than the Rajkumari of Rajpur.

For a brief moment, Veer felt something strange stir inside him.

But he quickly pushed the thought away.

No matter who she was, his mission remained the same.

He would conquer Rajpur.

And no one could stand in his way.

Meanwhile, Diya stood on the balcony, forcing a royal smile.

She had no other choice but to play the role of Rajkumari perfectly, just as Somnadh expected.

Inside, however, she felt trapped.

Later, Veer and Dev decided to stay in Rajpur for a few more days to gather concrete information.

To avoid suspicion, they disguised themselves and enrolled as palace messengers.

One day, while delivering letters, Veer came across a mysterious message addressed to Somnadh.

The letter read:

"I will kill your son Harinath the same way I killed the Raja and Rani of Vijaygarh... if you do not do what I demand."

Veer froze.

His hands tightened around the letter.

Someone else... killed my parents?

Until now, Veer had always believed that Somnadh was directly responsible for the death of his parents.

But this letter suggested something far more complicated.

Determined to uncover the truth, Veer disguised himself as a messenger and personally delivered the letter to Somnadh.

As Somnadh read the letter, his face turned pale.

Fear flashed across his eyes.

"Leave," he ordered Veer, who was disguised as a messenger immediately.

Veer quietly walked out, but inside his mind a storm had begun.

There was much more behind his parents' deaths than he had ever imagined.

And he was determined to uncover the truth.

Meanwhile, Dev was secretly gathering information about Rajpur's army strength and hidden passages.

To his surprise, he discovered that Rajpur was no longer as powerful as it once had been.

Years of internal issues had weakened their military strength.

When Dev explained this to Veer, Veer finally decided they had gathered enough information.

Soon after, both of them returned to Vijaygarh.

On the other hand, Diya was still struggling to process everything that had happened.

One day, Rajkumar Harinath came to meet her.

He introduced himself warmly.

"I am RajKumar Harinath... your brother."

Diya smiled gently and greeted him,
"Bhai sa."

Time was passing and Diya actually got close to Damayanti and Harinath because of their warmth and affection

Slowly, she began acting like a true Rajkumari, hoping that once she gained everyone's trust, she and Roohi could escape safely.

Roohi also played her part perfectly as Diya's sakhi.

Despite everything, Diya felt relieved that Roohi was still by her side.

Even though guilt constantly haunted her for dragging her best friend into this dangerous situation.

12th CENTURY - VIJAYGARH

After returning to Vijaygarh, Veer called Dev and gave him an order.

"Send a message to Raja Somnadh of Rajpur."

The letter was a royal invitation for a meeting with the King of Vijaygarh.

But at the bottom of the letter, Veer added a subtle warning.

Refusing the meeting would lead to severe consequences.

Dev sent the message through a royal messenger.

12th CENTURY - RAJPUR

When the letter reached Rajpur and Somnadh read it, anger flashed across his face.

But deep inside, he knew the truth.

His army was no longer strong enough to fight a war against Vijaygarh.

A war would risk his throne... and his power.

Understanding the seriousness of the situation, Somnadh reluctantly agreed to meet Maharaja Veerendra Singh of Vijaygarh.

After discussions through mediators, it was decided that Somnadh would travel to Vijaygarh for the meeting.

12th CENTURY - VIJAYGARH

Somnadh arrived in Vijaygarh with his minister Pardhavsen.

The royal meeting began in the grand court of Vijaygarh.

Maharaja Veerendra sat on the throne, with Dev standing beside him.

Veer looked directly at Somnadh and calmly presented him with two options.

"Option one," Veer said coldly,
"War between Vijaygarh and Rajpur."

Somnadh remained silent.

"Option two... Rajpur will become a subordinate kingdom under Vijaygarh through an alliance."

Somnadh's jaw tightened.

Then Veer added one final condition.

"As part of this alliance... Rajkumari Diya Gauri will be married to me."

Somnadh's eyes burned with anger.

But he knew the harsh truth.

He had no choice.

When it came to protecting his throne and power, he was willing to sacrifice anything...

Even his own daughter.

Minister Pardhavsen quietly advised him,
"Maharaj, this alliance is the best option. It will save Rajpur from war and allow us to retain power."

After a long silence...

Somnadh reluctantly agreed.

12th CENTURY - RAJPUR

Days passed.

Slowly, Diya began adapting to life in the palace.

She developed a genuine bond with Rani Damayanti and Rajkumar Harinath.

She started calling them Mata Shri and Bhai Sa.

Despite the affection she received, Diya never forgot one thing.

She and Roohi had to escape.

Somnadh returned to Rajpur and immediately summoned Harinath to the royal court.

When Harinath learned that his sister Diya Gauri was to be married to the enemy king Veerendra, his anger exploded.

But Somnadh remained firm.

Harinath could not defy his father.

With a heavy heart, he remained silent.

Later, Somnadh went to Diya's chamber.

Roohi was chatting with Diya when he arrived.

"Leave us," Somnadh ordered Roohi.

After Roohi left, Somnadh spoke coldly.

"Rajkumari Diya... you will marry Maharaja Veerendra Singh of Vijaygarh."

Diya's heart stopped.

"This is not a request," he continued.
"There is no option for refusal."

Then he added quietly,

"If you refuse... your friend Roohi's life will be in danger."

Diya felt the world collapse around her.

She was being forced to marry a man she barely knew.

And she had no power to stop it.

Tears filled her eyes.

But when she thought of Roohi's life...

She swallowed her pain.

And agreed.

Rani Damayanti was surprised by how quickly Diya agreed to the marriage.

But when Diya softly said,

"I am accepting this marriage by my own choice,"

Damayanti finally felt relieved.

Even in a time where women's opinions hardly mattered, Damayanti had always cared about Diya's feelings.

And Diya silently appreciated that.

But deep inside...

Her heart was filled with fear, confusion, and helplessness.

Her life had changed forever.
