21st CENTURY – TIME AGENCY
After weeks of sleepless nights, Yash finally completed the new time machine.
Radha stood beside him anxiously.
"Are you sure this will work?" she asked.
Yash adjusted the controls carefully.
"It has to work. Diya is stuck in time... and I will not stop until I bring her back."
Radha's eyes filled with determination.
"Then let's go."
Yash nodded.
Moments later, the machine activated.
The room filled with blinding light.
And within seconds—
They vanished.
12th CENTURY – RAJPUR
A sudden flash of light appeared near the banks of river Kailash at Rajpur.
Yash and Radha fell onto the ground.
Radha slowly opened her eyes.
"Yash... did it work?"
Yash looked around at the mud houses, ancient clothes of villagers, and bullock carts passing by.
He exhaled slowly.
"Yes."
"We're in the 12th century."
Radha stood up immediately.
"Then we need to find Diya and Roohi."
Yash nodded.
"But first we must understand where we are."
A passing villager told them the name of the kingdom.
"Rajpur."
Radha's eyes widened.
"That means we are close to them."
But little did they know...
Diya was no longer in Rajpur.
Yash already visited this place decades ago and has used the same frequency in machine so that they can land in 12th century again
12th CENTURY – VIJAYGARH
The girls' learning courtyard had become lively.
Young girls sat with books while Roohi patiently explained medical basics.
"And remember," Roohi said gently,
"Clean water prevents more illness than most medicines."
Dev was standing nearby again.
Watching.
Roohi noticed and sighed.
"Commander Devnath... are you observing again?"
Dev crossed his arms confidently.
"I am supervising."
Roohi smiled knowingly.
"By standing and staring?"
The girls giggled.
Dev cleared his throat awkwardly.
"I am ensuring the safety of Maharani's reforms."
Roohi handed him a basket of herbs.
"Good. Then help grind these."
Dev looked horrified.
"I command an army."
Roohi shrugged calmly.
"Today you command herbs."
The girls burst into laughter.
Dev reluctantly started grinding them while muttering,
"This is not what warriors are trained for."
Roohi smiled peacefully.
"It's not always about fighting and going to war. Sometimes it's also important to help others in their simple tasks like household chores. In our world we call it shared responsibilities. You can survive grinding herbs."
Dev looked at her for a moment.
And something about her calm nature strangely fascinated him.
ROYAL GARDEN – VIJAYGARH
Meanwhile Diya was walking in the garden when Veer approached.
She noticed him and immediately said,
"Oh look, the mighty conqueror of kingdoms."
Veer smirked.
"And the mighty conqueror of my court."
Diya grinned.
"Admit it. My reforms are working."
Veer crossed his arms.
"You have turned my kingdom upside down."
Diya gasped dramatically.
"Excuse me! I improved it."
Veer stepped closer.
"You challenge everything."
Diya looked directly at him.
"And yet you keep listening."
For a moment their eyes locked.
Then Diya quickly looked away.
"Anyway... thank you."
Veer looked surprised.
"For what?"
"For trusting me."
For the first time, Veer didn't have a witty reply.
GIRLS' COURTYARD
Later that evening...
Diya and Roohi were walking together.
Roohi suddenly smirked.
"So... you and the Maharaj."
Diya rolled her eyes.
"Oh please."
Roohi nudged her.
"I saw the way he looks at you."
Diya stopped walking.
"He looks at everyone like that. Like he's planning a battle."
Roohi laughed.
"Yes... but the way he smiles at you is different."
Diya froze for a moment.
Then she quickly changed the topic.
"What about you and Dev?"
Roohi looked confused.
"What about us?"
Diya grinned mischievously.
"Gossip is all around, The mighty commander grinding herbs for you."
Roohi blushed slightly.
"That was not romantic. That was forced labor."
Diya burst out laughing.
"Oh Roohi... even in the 12th century you are accidentally charming warriors."
Roohi sighed.
"You dragged me into time travel."
Diya smiled softly.
"Sorry about that."
Roohi nudged her playfully.
"Just make sure your king doesn't start another war because we need to return to our world peacefully."
Diya smirked.
"No promises."
PALACE BALCONY – NIGHT
Veer was standing on the balcony looking at the kingdom.
Dev joined him.
"Maharaj."
Veer nodded.
"How are the education reforms progressing?"
Dev smiled slightly.
"Very well."
Then he added,
"Roohi is doing an excellent job."
Veer noticed the tone.
"Ah."
Dev frowned.
"What?"
Veer smirked.
"The fierce commander of Vijaygarh seems... impressed."
Dev looked away.
"She is calm."
Veer laughed quietly.
"That is new for you."
Dev shook his head.
"At least I am not the one staring at my queen from balconies."
Veer turned sharply.
"I do not stare."
Dev smiled knowingly.
"Of course not."
PALACE TERRACE
Meanwhile Diya was standing alone looking at the stars.
Veer approached quietly.
"You like the night sky?"
Diya smiled softly.
"In my time... cities have so many lights that we forget how beautiful the stars are."
Veer looked confused.
"Your time?"
Diya quickly corrected herself.
"My... homeland. Rajpur ..."
They stood in silence for a moment.
Then Veer said quietly,
"Sometimes I do not understand your words. You sound as if you doesn't belong here"
The next day while Rani Diya Gauri was at girls teaching class, a little girl of twelve years age came to her to invite her to her wedding.
Diya got shocked and later influenced the girl and her parents and convinced them to drop their decision of wedding their daughter at such an young age.
