When human expectations shatter, divine intervention takes over. God always sends the right people into your life exactly when you need them the most, gracefully filling the void left by those who failed you.

Yash who was coming back from the cricket ground searching for shivansh was shocked to see isha crying and sobbing while shivansh was consoling. He immediately rushed to them.

They drove straight to Isha's home with isha. Once they were inside, isha started telling the horror. Isha told everything to Shivansh and Yash-the sudden police arrest over campus substance allegations, her family's brutal property-fueled betrayal, and her utter helplessness.

Hearing the entire sordid story, Shivansh and Yash were completely shocked. Yash clenched his fists, his eyes flashing with anger. He looked at Isha's sobbing state and instantly realized who she needed the most right now.

"Shivansh, I think Riya should be here. Riya is after all her bestie... she knows her best, she knows how to handle her."
Without wasting a second, Yash dialed Riya's number.

Riya was not feeling well at all; she had a high, exhausting fever and had been resting in bed. But the exact moment she learned about the nightmare that had befallen Isha, all thoughts of her own sickness vanished. She rushed out of her house and came straight to Isha's home.

The moment Riya stepped through the door, she didn't care about the rain or her fever. She ran forward and threw her arms tightly around Isha. Isha collapsed into her best friend's embrace, her shoulders shaking violently as she sobbed out all her pain. Riya rubbed her back, whispering soothing words, holding her as if she could shield her from the entire world.

Shivansh paced the living room, his mind working at lightning speed.

"Look, We need to find the solution first. Let's just go to the school, analyze everything, and we will then come to know what actually happened and how we can get Neha Aunty out of this.", she said.

Nodding in agreement, all four of them immediately set out for the college. They arrived at the sprawling, massive educational institution and began a quiet, desperate investigation. Shivansh and Isha managed to pull aside one of the senior teachers in a secluded hallway.

The professor looked around nervously, her voice trembling.

"Look... I want to tell you the truth, I will reveal what happened. But please, I don't want my name to be detailed anywhere. The people who did this to Neha are incredibly influential and dangerous.", he said.

Shivansh and Isha both stepped closer, their expressions dead serious as they gave their unshakeable word.

"Ma'am, we assure you, nothing will happen to you. Your name will never come out. Please tell us.",she said.

Meanwhile, to cover more ground in the massive school building, Riya and Yash had separated from them, wandering through the multiple floors to enquire from other staff members.

As they walked down a long corridor on the third floor, Riya suddenly stumbled, her hand flying to her forehead. The exertion and the stubborn fever were catching up to her. The world tilted slightly, and a dangerous tinge of unconsciousness washed over her.

Yash, whose eyes had secretly been anchored on her the entire time, instantly sensed her faltering balance. He reached out, his strong hand gripping her elbow firmly to steady her. "Riya! Hey, aren't you feeling well? Your temperature is burning up."

Riya forced her eyes open, leaning slightly against the wall but stubbornly shaking her head.

"Yeah, kind of... but it's not that much also that I am not present for my friend when she needed me the most.", she said.

Yash froze, staring down at her pale, determined face. A profound warmth bloomed in his chest. Looking at her, he felt a wave of intense admiration hit his heart.

Seeing her push through her own physical agony just to stand as a pillar for her best friend made his respect for her skyrocket. He admired her out-of-the-way care, realizing there was a beautiful, rare soul hidden beneath her sharp, feisty exterior.

Before he could argue, Shivansh and Isha rushed up the stairs, their faces fierce with new information.

"We know the entire story now," Shivansh declared.

"A college student was caught consuming illegal substances on campus. Neha Aunty caught him red-handed and got him suspended. But his parents are highly influential business tycoons. They demanded the suspension be revoked, but since the principal didn't listen to them, they decided to take revenge. They framed Neha Aunty to put her behind bars for the exact same substance reason."

Isha looked at Shivansh, her eyes wide.

"So this is the whole story... but how do we prove it?"

"We need the CCTV footage of that day," Shivansh replied grimly.

All four of them rushed to the main administration staff room, demanding the archives. The staff member sighed helplessly.

"The CCTV footage doesn't lie, but we don't store it here. For all the sister branches of this college, the collective CCTV storage main server lies near a facility two kilometers away from here."

Without losing another second, they all piled into the car and drove the two kilometers to the high-security central storage facility.

When they arrived, they hurried toward the entrance, but the security guard stopped them firmly at the gate.

"Four members cannot go inside together. Security protocol allows only two members to enter the server room area."

Isha stepped forward. "Let Shivansh and me go inside."

Inside the facility, the administrators initially refused to give them access to the encrypted data, citing strict institutional privacy. Seeing no other way, Shivansh take a deep breath, pulled out his phone, and called his father, Vidyut.

Leveraging his father's significant influence and immediate legal backup, the permission was cleared within minutes.

The staff unlocked the archives, and finally, they found the golden loop-concrete evidence captured on the camera where the principal was seen handling the case, and the influential parents were clearly recorded on camera shouting at Neha, explicitly threatening:

"We will put you behind bars for the exact same substance reason!",they said.

They quickly collected and downloaded the undeniable proof.

While Isha and Shivansh were inside hunting for the evidence, Yash and riya were left waiting outside near the car.
The heavy silence of the afternoon was suddenly broken by the sky opening up again.

A steady, cold rain started to pour down, splashing against the asphalt and sending a sudden chill straight through riya bones. Her fever was making my head throb, and she shivered, wrapping her arms tightly around myself.

Yash noticed it instantly. He turned to me, his brow furrowed with genuine worry.

"Riya, look at the weather. Come on, let's go and sit inside the car, it's raining heavily."

Riya groaned slightly, the mere thought of sitting inside that enclosed space making my stomach twist.

"I have motion sickness, Yash," Riya muttered, my voice weaker than she wanted to admit. "I can't sit in a stationary car unless it's moving... otherwise I will start feeling terribly nauseous, and I don't want to deal with that right now."

Yash didn't argue. He didn't drop a sarcastic comeback like he usually did. Instead, his eyes widened, and he immediately spun around, sprinting back toward the car. Riya watched through the blurry curtain of rain as he frantically popped the trunk, checked the back seats, and finally found what he was looking for.

He came barging back toward riya through the downpour, holding a large, classic umbrella. With a swift, decisive motion, he popped it open over our heads, cutting off the falling torrents.

He looked down at me, his eyes fierce but holding a sweetness that medical science could never explain.

"Ye le umbrella... waise hi tu bimar hai, aur bimar pad jayegi," he scolded softly, his voice carrying a protective warmth that completely caught me off guard.

("Take this umbrella... you are already sick, you will fall even more sick.")

Riya looked at the way he was holding the handle, noticing that he had subconsciously tilted the entire canopy over riya side, leaving his own shoulder completely exposed to the cold rain. A small, involuntary smile touched her lips despite the fever.

Riya reached up, her fingers brushing against his warm hand as she lightly pushed the umbrella handle back toward the center, splitting the shelter equally between us.

"Haan... bimar toh tum bhi pad sakte ho," I murmured softly, looking straight into his eyes.
("Yeah... even you can fall sick.")

For a second, the roaring sound of the rain faded into a distant whisper. Standing closely together under that single dome of safety, with the scent of wet earth around them, the usual chaotic friction between them completely melted away.

In his eyes, riya didn't see the annoying college boy who teased me over carrom matches; she saw a caring person. And as they stood there waiting for their friends, the warmth radiating from him felt like the only sanctuary she needed against the cold rain.
