Overcoming a sudden crisis leaves behind a profound appreciation for the people who stood by you.

Shivansh's fingers flew across the keyboard, his eyes locked onto the grainy monitor. Suddenly, he froze the frame. There it was-the undeniable proof. The CCTV footage clearly captured the exact moment the suspended student's parents had cornered Neha, their faces twisted in rage as they delivered a blunt, threatening warning after she caught their child using illegal substances. It was the missing piece of the puzzle.

Wasting no time, Shivansh rushed over to where Riya, Yash, and Isha were waiting, his face flushed with triumph.

"Evidence mil gayi!" Isha gasped, her eyes widening as she looked at the screen. (We found the evidence!)

"Thank God! Chalo, jaldi chalte hai," Yash urged, grabbing his car keys. (Let's go, let's move fast.)

The group rushed to the police station, where Riya's father, Raghav, was already waiting for them. Riya had called him ahead of time to handle the legal procedures. Armed with the footage, Raghav presented the ironclad proof to the inspector. Within minutes, the false charges crumbled, and Neha was officially released.

The moment Neha stepped out of the holding area, Isha burst into tears, throwing her arms around her mother.

"Mumma!" she sobbed, holding on tightly as if she would never let go.
Neha cried along with her, placing a tender, reassuring kiss on Isha's forehead. Pulling back slightly, Neha looked up at the group, her eyes shining with immense gratitude.

"Thank you, Shivansh... thank you, everyone. I don't even have words to describe what you all have done for me today."

While the emotional reunion was happening, Riya's phone began to vibrate in her pocket. She slid it out to see Purvi's name flashing on the screen. Stepping slightly away from the emotional chatter, Riya answered it.

"Hey, Riya! Isha ko call kiya, wo utha nahi rahi. Kuch hua hai kya?" Purvi's voice came through, filled with laced anxiety. (I called Isha, but she isn't picking up. Did something happen?)

Riya exhaled a long breath, recounting the entire chaotic ordeal from the suspension threat to the police station release. On the other end of the line, Purvi gasped in pure shock. "Oh my God! Abhi aate hai hum bhi police station!" (Oh my God! We are co
ming to the police station right now too!)

"No, iski jarurat nahi hai," Riya intervened softly. "Hum abhi Isha ke ghar hi ja rahe hai, tum wahi aa jana." (No, there's no need for that. We are heading to Isha's house right now, just meet us there.)

"Ok, haan... hum aate hai," Purvi agreed immediately. (Ok, yeah... we are coming.)

Riya's eyebrow arched playfully despite the exhaustion weighing on her. "'Hum' aate hai matlab? Koi aur bhi hai saath mein?" (What do you mean 'we' are coming? Is someone else with you?)

Purvi cleared her throat, a sudden nervousness entering her tone. "Haan... main aur Akshat aise hi ghumne bahar aaye the. Dono bore ho rahe the toh..." (Yeah... Akshat and I just came out for a casual drive. Both of us were getting bored, so...)

Riya gave a silent 'I-get-it' expression to the empty hallway. Normally, she would have teased Purvi mercilessly about this "casual drive" with Akshat. But knowing the gravity of what they had just dealt with, she decided to let her friend off the hook without pulling her leg this time. "Alright, see you guys at Isha's house."

True to their word, Purvi and Akshat arrived together at Isha's place shortly after the group got back, offering a wave of warmth and solid moral support. Neha looked around the living room at the crowded space, her heart swelling. She turned to her daughter, a soft smile gracing her tired face. "Isha, you are incredibly lucky to have such great friends. Always cherish them, beta."

Realizing that no one had eaten all day, Shivansh took charge and ordered a massive spread of dinner for everyone. When the food arrived, they all gathered around the table, the heavy tension finally melting away.

As they opened the containers, Akshat quietly grabbed his California Burrito. Knowing how much Purvi absolutely loved mushrooms, he meticulously picked out every single piece from his food and placed them gently onto her plate.

Riya caught the subtle, domestic gesture instantly. A mischievous smirk broke across her face.

"Wah yaar Akshat! Tum toh proper paglu ban gaye ho!" (Wow, Akshat! You have officially turned into a hopeless lover boy!)

Yash choked on his food, laughing out loud. "Wo toh hai!" (That he definitely is!)

The entire table burst into a chorus of giggles and teasing whispers. Isha, frantic but laughing, immediately put a finger to her lips, glancing toward the kitchen.

"Dheere! Mumma sun lengi toh kya sochegi?" (Shh, quiet! If Mumma hears this, what will she think?)

Yash leaned forward, his eyes twinkling with pure mischief as he raised his voice just a tiny bit louder to tease them.

"Haan, kya sochegi? Bolo Akshat, kya bolna chahiye hume Neha aunty ko?" (Yeah, what will she think? Tell us Akshat, what explanation should we give to Neha aunty?)

Akshat's face turned bright red as the entire room dissolved into a loud, joyous fit of laughter, the dark shadows of the afternoon completely forgotten in the warmth of their friendship.
